The Lin'an District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Hangzhou City issued the "Opinions on Further Promoting the Healthy and Orderly Development of the Lin'an District Real Estate Market", which propounded the implementation of group home purchase subsidies. From October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, cadres, employees and villagers of units in Lin'an District at agencies, enterprises and villages (shareholding economic cooperatives), who purchase three, five, ten or more newly-built commercial residential units in the district, will be given a subsidy of 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5% of the actual total purchase price of the house, respectively, after the real estate ownership certificate is processed. The amount of the subsidy will not exceed 50% of the actual deed tax paid. Chinese property developers are encouraged to offer the same preferential policies during group purchases.
