YUM CHINA (09987.HK) opened 5.66% higher this morning, at $381. 22,400 shares were traded before the market opened, involving $8.5344 million.

YUM CHINA's 3Q24 total revenue was US$3.07 billion, up 5.4% YoY, setting a record high for any quarter. It posted a net profit of US$297 million, up 21.7%, with an EPS of US77 cents. The DPS was US16 cents.

The Company plans to step up the capital returns to shareholders from US$3 billion to US$4.5 billion between 2024 and 2026, representing an increase of 50%.

As part of the enlarged capital returns program, the Company plans to return US$1.5 billion for the full year 2024. In the first nine months, the Company returned a record US$1.24 billion to shareholders, including US$1.06 billion in share repurchases and US$187 million in cash dividends.
