The Acting Financial Secretary, Michael Wong, announced that the Three Runway System at the Hong Kong International Airport will officially open on 28 November. After it is put into service, it is expected to provide additional capacity, bringing the airport's annual passenger throughput to 120 million passengers and 10 million tons of cargo, compared to the previous financial year when the airport handled about 45 million passengers and 4.5 million tons of cargo.
