GOGOX (02246.HK) announced that it subscribed today (24th) for a certain number of participating shares in a fund at the subscription amount. It is understood that the relevant participating shares are non-voting, redeemable shares in a segregated portfolio of the fund issued as "Class SP2-A Shares". The subscription amount is $65 million. GOGOX said that the group subscribed for the fund for investment purposes, and the subscription provides the group with an opportunity to balance and diversify its investment portfolio, as well as for potential capital appreciation. In addition, the subscription also enables the group to participate in the investment grade debt and fixed income instruments while reducing the direct investment risks leveraging on the professional management of the fund and the manager.
