The hydrogen purification facilities improvement project of SINOPEC CORP (00386.HK)'s Yanshan Petrochemical has recently been put into operation, with a throughput of 10,000 normal cubic meters per hour, increasing Yanshan Petrochemical's total hydrogen production capacity for fuel cells to more than 8,000 tons per annum, and providing 24 tons of hydrogen per day to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region for use in fuel cell vehicles, according to SINOPEC CORP's announcement.
