China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and State Administration for Market Regulation have issued the Action Plan for Stable Growth of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry 2025-2026.

The plan calls for accelerating major project construction, strengthening the driving effect, and vigorously advancing large-scale equipment upgrades, major engineering projects, and the commencement of key projects in the electronic information manufacturing industry.

It also emphasizes intensifying efforts in breakthroughs for CPUs, high-performance AI servers, and software-hardware integration, as well as launching compatibility tests for AI chips and large models.

As for fortifying support for China-made tech products, the plan aims to ensure the security and stability of the industrial and supply chains, continue addressing weaknesses in the industrial chain, extend the advantages of leading industries, upgrade traditional industries, and build up emerging industries.

Policy support for key enterprises in the industrial chain will be increased to enhance their local roots, intensify efforts in tackling core technologies, and improve the resilience and security of key industrial and supply chains.
