Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), wrote in an article that China's car industry and supply chains are being disrupted by increasingly challenging external headwinds, unilateralism, and protectionism.

Meanwhile, the task of maintaining steady growth in the car industry remains arduous, as the foundation for China's economic recovery is still fragile, effective demand is insufficient, and issues such as disorderly market competition persist.

Believing that next year will bring significant pressure, Cui expressed hope for strong and long-term follow-up policies for measures such as reducing or exempting personal income tax for car buyers, promoting the adoption of new energy vehicles in rural areas, and introducing incentives for car purchases related to marriage and childbirth. These improvements will help stimulate car consumption and boost economic growth.
