Sandy Xu, CEO of JD-SW (09618.HK), and CFO Ian Shan attended an analyst conference call yesterday (5th), according to Chinese media. Xu expressed strong confidence in maintaining healthy growth across daily necessities categories in 2026, with spacious room for expansion in user penetration and product segmentation in the supermarket business.

The fashion business has also completed its investment attraction strategy for 2025, with a wider array of merchants and brands joining the JD platform.

Xu forecasted that this year's growth drivers for JD Retail will be more diverse, with daily necessities maintaining healthy growth and advertising and other service businesses achieving rapid and solid growth. The home appliances and digital products category experienced a high base effect in 1H, with 2H growth outpacing that in 1H.

Coupled with the continuous incline in platform traffic, user base and shopping frequency, the Group is confident in achieving healthy and quality growth for the whole year.
